It depends. I'm assuming that the sum is above the statutory limit for small claims - $5000. A corporation of limited liability may proceed in small claims court without an attorney, but may not in county court or circuit civil. If your business structure is a sole propietorship, then you may be able to proceed pro se. Because in that case, your personal assets are at risk, not only your company assets.
