Ger, Mediation is generally valid between counties. And just because the opposing attorney wants to waive mediation in your current county of residence, doesn't make it so. Consider whether there are issues remaining to be mediated; and whether there was a mediation agreement already made. Apparently you want a second mediation and the other party does not. That's why I titled this - Let the judge decide. Most circuits require mediation in contested family law cases.
